As we approach the Fourth of July weekend, Governor Greg Abbott's failure to stop the spread of COVID-19 by getting Texans vaccinated continues to halt the state's recovery. 59 percent of adult Texans have received at least one vaccine shot, solidly below President Biden's goal of having 70 percent of adults with at least one shot by July 4th.
