CONCORD, New Hampshire, June 11 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - New England Field Office issued the following news release:
The 2021 Vermont maple syrup production totaled 1.54 million gallons, down 21% from the previous year, according to Pam Hird, New England State Statistician of the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service, New England Field Office. Vermont remains the top producing state in the Nation.
