AUSTIN, Texas, June 9 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release on June 8, 2021:
Governor Greg Abbott today signed Senate Bills 2 and 3 into law to reform the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) and weatherize and improve the reliability of the state's power grid.
