HONOLULU, Hawaii, June 8 (TNSRes) -- The University of Hawaii issued the following news release:
Every night, the University of Hawaii Pan-STARRS telescopes on Hakeakala scan the sky for Near-Earth Objects (NEOs), asteroids or comets that may come close to or even hit Earth in the future. The search is funded by NASA's Near-Earth Object Observations Program.
