University of Michigan Eviction Filings Dropped 65% in 2020, Compared to Pre-Pandemic

ANN ARBOR, Michigan, June 3 (TNSRep) -- The University of Michigan issued the following news release:

New research from the University of Michigan offers insights into how Michigan can maintain the low eviction rates achieved during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Michigan Eviction Project, led by U-M faculty and housing attorneys, found that in total the number of eviction cases filed between April and December 2020 represented a 65% decrease from the number of cases filed . . .
