WASHINGTON, May 22 -- Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kansas, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. joined his colleagues in sending a letter to Dr. Francis Collins, Director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) requesting information on gain of function research and NIH's 2014 moratorium on funding for that research.
The letter included 17 information requests asking NIH to explain what prompted the establishment of a moratorium on gain . . .
