WASHINGTON, May 13 -- Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr., D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on May 12, 2021:
U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) today condemned the removal by the House Republican Caucus of Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY-AL) from a leadership post.
"Make no mistake about it: Rep. Cheney was fired for the crime of saying Donald Trump lost the election," said Rep. Pascrell. "It has become disqualifying in the Republican Party to tell the truth. . . .
