CARSON CITY, Nevada, May 7 -- Gov. Stephen Sisolak, D-Nevada, issued the following news release:
Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak joined leaders across the State and the country in honor of Juliana Urtubey, who was named the 2021 National Teacher of the Year by the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO).
Urtubey, an educator for 11 years, teaches at Kermit R. Booker, Sr. Innovative Elementary School in Las Vegas, where she serves as a co-teacher in pre-kindergarten . . .
