TRENTON, New Jersey, May 6 -- Gov. Phil Murphy, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on May 5, 2021:
The National Hockey League announced today that Jared M. Maples will be joining the League as Executive Vice President, Chief Security Officer. Maples comes to the League from the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (NJOHSP), where he served as its Director since 2017. He will begin his tenure with the NHL on June 7.
