AUSTIN, Texas, April 14 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release:

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed James R. "Randy" Brooks and reappointed William "Bill" Mahomes, Jr. and Robert L. "Bob" Albritton to the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents for terms set to expire on February 1, 2027.
