WASHINGTON, April 9 -- Del. Amata Radewagen, R-American Samoa, issued the following news release:

Thursday, Congresswoman Uifa'atali Amata joined Congresswoman Kathleen Rice (NY-04) in introducing two bipartisan reform bills to strengthen oversight and accountability at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

The Strengthening Oversight for Veterans Act would provide the VA Office of Inspector General with stronger mechanisms to detect and investigate waste, . . .
