HONOLULU, Hawaii, April 9 (TNSRes) -- The University of Hawaii issued the following news release:

An invention that enhances the longevity and performance of fuel cells has been awarded a U.S. patent. Researchers from the Hawaii Natural Energy Institute (HNEI) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa developed a "smart" system called an Environmental Sensor Array that senses and reacts to changing air quality in real time.
