WASHINGTON, April 7 -- Rep. Scott Franklin, R-Florida, issued the following news release:
Representative Scott Franklin (R-FL) joined House Ways and Means Ranking Member Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX) and House Oversight and Government Reform Republican Leader James Comer (R-KY) in cosponsoring the State Tax Freedom Act, H.R. 2189, which opposes an unconstitutional provision of the American Rescue Plan Act that restricts states' autonomy to cut taxes and manage their own finances.
