Dr. Michael Kruppa Awarded East Tennessee State University's First Candida Auris-Related Grant

JOHNSON CITY, Tennessee, March 31 (TNSRes) -- East Tennessee State University issued the following news:

Dr. Michael Kruppa, an East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine faculty member, has received a grant to study a global emerging fungal infection, Candida auris.

The National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, awarded a R21 grant to Kruppa for his study "Genetic Characterization of phosphomannan biosynth . . .
