JACKSONVILLE, Florida, March 30 -- Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Florida, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) sent a letter to U.S. Department of the Navy Acting Secretary Thomas Harker urging the U.S. Navy to use the USS Bonhomme Richard as an artificial reef in the waters off Florida, which would be a more economically and ecologically productive alternative to scrapping the vessel, and would be a more fitting way to honor those who served on the ship.
