Governor Ralph Northam issued the following statement today after President Joe Biden announced his intent to nominate Gayle Conelly Manchin for Federal Co-Chair of the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). In February, Appalachia's 13 governors elected Governor Northam to serve as ARC's States' Co-Chair for 2021.
