WASHINGTON, March 19 -- Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kansas, issued the following news release on March 18, 2021:
U.S. Senators Roger Marshall, M.D. and Jerry Moran sent a letter to the Office of Management and Budget calling on them to reconsider their plans to change Metropolitan and Micropolitan Statistical Area definitions from 50k to 100k. This change would significantly impact Lawrence as a Metropolitan Statistical Area and in turn disqualify the city from receiving vital federal fu . . .
