TOPEKA, Kansas, March 19 -- The Kansas Democratic Party issued the following news release on March 18, 2021:
Last night, Senate Republicans pushed through a regressive, anti-transgender bill that would hurt Kansas' youth and our economic recovery from COVID-19. Senator Renee Erickson, the biggest Republican proponent of the bill, admitted that SB 208 would sabotage Governor Kelly's ability to recruit new businesses when our economy needs them the most.
