RICHMOND, Virginia, Feb. 20 -- Gov. Ralph S. Northam, R-Virginia, issued the following news release on Feb. 19, 2021:
Governor Ralph Northam today announced that the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has designated Fort Monroe as a Site of Memory Associated with the UNESCO Slave Route project.
