The Republican Party of Wisconsin released the following statement from Chairman Andrew Hitt ahead of Gov. Tony Evers' budget address:
"Wisconsinites are still reeling from the impact of Gov. Tony Evers' costly lockdowns.
"This is the worst possible time for a budget that grows government, hikes taxes and serves special intere . . .
