CONCORD, New Hampshire, Jan. 14 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - New England Field Office issued the following news release:
ALL DRY HAY
Connecticut hay production is estimated at 83 thousand tons, up 2% from 2019. Yield is estimated at 1.80 tons, up 0.08 ton from the previous year. Harvested area, at 46 thousand acres, is down 2% from the previous year.
Maine hay production is estimated at 183 thousand tons . . .
