ATLANTA, Georgia, Dec. 31 -- The Democratic Party of Georgia issued the following news release:

After eight months of consistent criticism from Jon Ossoff for spending the entire pandemic opposing stimulus checks and direct pandemic aid to struggling Americans, former corporate CEO Senator David Perdue caved to Democrats' call to embrace $2,000 stimulus checks -- but only as an 11th hour campaign stunt to try and fool Georgians and save his flailing campaign.
