LANSING, Michigan, Dec. 30 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release on Dec. 28:

Governor Gretchen Whitmer today announced the following appointments to the Eastern Michigan University Board of Regents, Ferris State University Board of Trustees, Grand Valley State University Board of Trustees, Northern Michigan University Board of Trustees, Michigan Technological University Board of Trustees, and the Western Michigan University Board of Trustees.
