AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 30 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed John Shrode as Judge of the 358th Judicial District Court in Ector County for a term set to expire on December 31, 2022, or until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified.
John F. Shrode of Odessa is an attorney in private practice, and previously served as a prosecutor for the Ector County District Attorney's Office.
