HONOLULU, Hawaii, Dec. 23 -- The Hawaii Department of Education issued the following news release on Dec. 22:

The Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE) today announced a new partnership with the national nonprofit DonorsChoose, an education crowdfunding site that helps teachers obtain financial support for classroom projects and resources.
