HONOLULU, Hawaii, Dec. 18 -- Gov. David Ige, D-Hawaii, issued the following news release:

Gov. David Ige signed a 17th COVID-19 emergency proclamationreducing the state's mandatory self-quarantine period for travelers entering the state and traveling between counties from 14 to 10 days. The new policy takes effect tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 17 at 12:01 a.m.
