GALVESTON, Texas, Dec. 16 -- The University of Texas Medical Branch issued the following news release:
On Tuesday, Dec. 15, UTMB received and began administering the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to its "first tier" health care workers--those frontline employees who are at elevated risk for occupational exposure to the virus.
To make the best use of limited initial supplies, UTMB is following CDC and state guidelines to first vaccinate health care worker . . .
