CASTLETON, Vermont, Dec. 3 (TNSMon) -- Castleton University issued the following news:

This GivingTuesday, Castleton University saw more than 245 alumni, parents, faculty and staff, students, and friends of Castleton show their Spartan pride by donating over $30,000 to support student scholarships. This year marks the most impressive giving day in Castleton history, breaking a number of records including:

* The largest total donation amount in a single day
