RALEIGH, North Carolina, Dec. 3 -- The North Carolina Republican Party issued the following news:
99 out of 100 counties have completed their recount, and Chief Justice Elect Paul Newby has increased his margin of victory to 457 votes.
With only two counties outstanding, it is clear Newby will end the recount with a majority of votes as he did on election night and after the county canvas. The only question that remains is whether or not soon-to-be-former Chief Justice . . .
