MONTPELIER, Vermont, Nov. 19 -- Vermont Attorney General Thomas J. Donovan issued the following news release on Nov. 18:
Attorney General T.J. Donovan announced today that Apple, Inc. will pay $1.16M to the State of Vermont as part of a $113M settlement with a coalition of over 30 attorneys general. The settlement announced today stems from Apple's 2016 decision to throttle consumers' iPhone speeds--artificially slowing them down--to address unexpected shutdowns in iPhones . . .
