AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 7 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release on Nov. 6:
Governor Greg Abbott today announced that the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) has deployed three U.S. Air Force Medical Specialty Teams to assist the state's efforts to combat COVID-19 in El Paso.
These teams consist of 20 military medical providers each and will support three El Paso city hospitals: the University Medical Center of El Paso, the Hospitals of Providenc . . .
