AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 6 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release on Nov. 5:
Governor Greg Abbott has sent a letter to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) opposing construction of a storage facility for spent nuclear fuel in Andrews County, Texas.
