LINCOLN, Nebraska, Oct. 29 -- The Nebraska Democratic Party issued the following news release:
CD2 candidate Kara Eastman and NDP Chair Jane Kleeb on Wednesday responded to news reports that Rep. Don Bacon illegally used taxpayers money to pay for campaign activity.
The Intercept reports that Bacon used his congressional expense account to pay his campaign strategist, a move that may raise ethics concerns over the use of taxpayer funds.
