HONOLULU, Hawaii, Oct. 3 -- Gov. David Ige, D-Hawaii, issued the following news release on Oct. 2

David Ige announced today that he has appointed Edmund ("Fred") Hyun to serve as the temporary acting director overseeing the state Department of Public Safety, effective October 1 through November 30.
