LANSING, Michigan, Oct. 3 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release Oct. 2:
After a recent surge in COVID-19 cases in the Upper Peninsula, or MERC Region 8, Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed Executive Order 2020-192 moving the region back to phase 4 of the MI Safe Start Plan.
