CONCORD, New Hampshire, Oct. 2 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - New England Field Office issued the following news release:
Maine oat production totaled 1.39 million bushels in 2020, down 4% from the 2019 total of 1.44 million bushels, according to Pam Hird, state statistician of the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), New England Field Office.
Yield was estimated at 63.0 bushels per acre, down 13.0 b . . .
