Today, Rep. Phil Roe, M.D. (R-Tenn.) released the following statement after Major League Baseball (MLB) and USA Baseball announced the Appalachian League will be restructured from minor league to a collegiate wood-bat league:
"This agreement between the Appalachian League and Major League Baseball sounds like good news for our community in that it preserves Americ . . .
