LANSING, Michigan, Sept. 30 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release on Sept. 29:
The Healthy Michigan Plan is now providing health care coverage to more than 800,000 low-income residents for the first time, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced today.
There are now 800,794 people enrolled in the Healthy Michigan Plan, the state's expanded Medicaid program.
