AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 29 -- The Texas Democratic Party issued the following press document on Sept. 28:
Today, the 277th District Court in Williamson County indicted and arrested Sheriff Robert Chody on a felony tampering with evidence charge after recordings of Javier Ambler's tragic in-custody death were destroyed.
Ambler tragically died in police custody after pleading with police officers, "I can't breathe" multiple times.
