WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-California, issued the following remarks during her weekly news conference on Sept. 24:
It's the first time we've all been together since losing the notorious Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Such a sad passing for our country. My understanding from the Jewish faith is that when you leave on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, you are in a special category of the righteous. May she rest in peace.
