TOPEKA, Kansas, Sept. 25 -- The Kansas Democratic Party issued the following news release on Sept. 24:

Yesterday, the Kansas Reflector published recent comments made by State Senator Mike Thompson (SD-10) regarding Kansas' COVID-19 death toll. To date, 621 Kansans have died from COVID-19, including 155 people from Johnson County, Senator Thompson's district.
