AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 24 (TNSPer) -- The University of Texas issued the following news release on Sept. 23:
The University of Texas System Board of Regents unanimously voted Wednesday to name Jay Hartzell, Ph.D., the next president of UT Austin, effective immediately. Hartzell was named sole finalist for president last month.
