WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release on Sept. 23:
Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) has awarded a $500,000 grant to Adams County for a Workforce Development Training Center. These funds will go toward the renovation of a 15,100 square foot former grocery store. Renovations include new HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and classroom space.
