AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 22 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following proclamation:
WHEREAS, I, GREG ABBOTT, Governor of the State of Texas, do hereby certify that Tropical Storm Beta poses a threat of imminent disaster, including widespread and severe property damage, injury, and loss of life due to widespread flooding, storm surge, and damaging winds, in Aransas, Bee, Bexar, Brazoria, Calhoun, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Hardin, Harris, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Jim Wel . . .
