AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 5 -- The Texas Democratic Party issued the following statement by Executive Director Manny Garcia on the August jobs report:
"Donald Trump failed to contain the pandemic and now our economy is in a historic recession with 13 million Americans still out of work.
"There are still more than 3 million Texans out of work. Job losses under Trump are the worst of any American president on record and Texans are paying the price for his disastrous . . .
