CONCORD, New Hampshire, Sept. 5 -- The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services issued the following news release:
A cyanobacteria bloom has been observed on White Oak Pond. Samples collected (on September 4 by the Squam Lakes Association) contained cyanobacteria (Microcystis wesenbergii) in concentrations of 170,000 cells/ml.
