There's no mercy rule in politics, but if there were, Steve Chabot would be asking for an ending to a week when he voted against funding for the U.S. Postal Service, was called out by his opponent, Kate Schroder, and then his own sister for that terrible vote and impotently raged against an ad that accurately notes his former campaign manager is under federal investigation.
