LANSING, Michigan, Aug. 24 -- The Michigan Democratic Party issued the following news release:

In case you missed it, Women for Trump advisory board member Meshawn Maddock attacked Birmingham, Michigan women as "elitists" and claimed nobody cares "about how safe Birmingham, Michigan is."

The attack comes as Birmingham's Oakland county rejected Trump's toxic record, and voted to elect Democratic women up and down the ticket in 2018.
