PHOENIX, Arizona, Aug. 22 -- The Arizona Democratic Party issued the following statement on Aug. 21 by spokesperson Tyler Cherry:

Today, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released new data showing that the unemployment rate in Arizona increased in July to 10.6% -- higher than the state's unemployment rate in May or June, and higher than the national average.
