AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 21 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Samuel Brown and Hammad Nasir Qureshi, M.D. and reappointed Debra E. Patrick to the Texas Board of Respiratory Care for terms set to expire on February 1, 2015. Additionally, the Governor named Latana Jackson chair of the board. The board advises the Texas Medical Board, adopts rules to establish the certification and permitting program for respiratory therapist . . .
